AFT Virtual Summer Educator Academy Courses

Leaders of AFT Connecticut-affiliated PreK-12, PSRP and Higher Education local unions are encouraged to "send" participants to our national union's signature Summer Educator Academy (SEA). The Professional Development team has designed online versions of sessions for members and will be offering a series ranging from workshops to full courses, with many offering professional learning credit.

Payment must be submitted by local unions or districts; payment will not be accepted by individual participants for the train-the-trainer courses. Individuals may register and pay for the participant-only courses.

The following offerings will begin as soon as July 12 and will have staggered start dates throughout July and August.

Participant-Only Courses ($50):

      • Electrifying Online Teaching and Learning
      • The Game Factor
