Healthcare "Workplace Violence Law" Webinar

Note: This webinar is in place of the regularly scheduled Healthcare Council meeting. 

Members of AFT Connecticut-affiliated healthcare unions are invited to attend an all new webinar focusing on our state's workplace violence prevention statute. This law requires healthcare employers to develop prevention programs in collaboration with workers. Participants will discuss how to use these rules and work for safer workplaces with genuine labor-management safety committees.

This webinar is being presented by AFT Health Issues Assistant Director Sara Markle-Elder and Sherri Dayton, RN, AFT Connecticut's vice president of healthcare and president of our Backus Federation of Nurses.
