Healthcare "Safe Patient Limits" Mobilization Town Hall

Healthcare union members are invited to this virtual meeting being organized by AFT Connecticut's legislative advocates in collaboration with our Healthcare Council. The purpose is to share information about S.B. 1067, An Act Concerning Adequate and Safe Health Care Staffing. This new bill will both strengthen existing law and ensure hospitals are required to adhere to safe staffing levels. 
 
If short staffing has impacted your work, your mental health and your daily life, then our state's lawmakers need to hear from you. While we don't have an official date for the public hearing, we want you and your colleagues to be ready. This meeting is a chance for you to ask any questions about S.B. 1067 and prepare to testify in person, online and/or in writing in favor of the proposed new safe patient limits law.
